A large sturdy hard prickly fern, which has beautiful shiny dark green fronds. Very beautiful garden plant, pretty smooth straight upright leaves, beautiful throughout the year. Lush coating of papery, reddish brown prominent scales at the ragis. He can grow up to about 70 cm tall. Immaculate appearances all year round, round based and recommendable as a solitary border plant. Don't plant it in a sunny place! Fairly unknown specie, well worth trying.
