This Fern is native to the coast of western North America and can withstand salty air. The fern is green all year round and very suitable as an under planting or ground cover. With the help of its rhizomes, the fern can spread itself, but it is not invasive. A nice detail are the orange rusty colored heaps of spore boxes.
